Ladies, no matter what the world tells you, a good woman is not one who stands by her man no matter what. She is not someone who allows herself to be taken advantage of, lied to, mistreated, disrespected, manipulated, demeaned, cheated on, or yo-yo'd. A good woman can see past her man's imperfections, yes, but she does not tolerate his abuses. She supports her man when his life is low, when he experiences misfortune, or encounters pain, but she does not UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES allow him to drag her through his bullshit. #Ijs ladies, love your man because he is deserving not because you fear the loss of his presence. I know that we're taught that no one is perfect, but there is someone who was made to love you and is ready to love you. Stop settling for those who have no problem making you wait to reap the benefits of love and loyalty when that's all you've ever given them.

AuthorI, Kanika Vann (writer, author, editor, journalist, poet, publisher, and love enthusiast), created Love: Possible© with the intent to help save my sisters from the unnecessary pain that accompanies the acceptance of confusion, dysfunction, and disrespect in our romantic relationships, but not without calling special attention to our most valuable relationship—the one we have with ourselves.
