![]() Sadly (and other times, luckily), the men we choose to love, don't love us in return. Unfortunately, our love isn't always reciprocated. And if you're anything like me—the eternal perfectionist—you tried harder and harder to make him see you when you already knew who you were, what you brought to the table, and what you deserved, and yet you sat and earnestly wondered what was wrong with him, when you should've really been asking, "What's wrong with me?" If a man can't appreciate what you offer and all that you bring, he has a definite misunderstanding of what love is. But so do we, if we let him abuse us by giving us less than we deserve. We can't make the argument that we know what love is, if we stick around and tolerate his bullshit. -Kanika A. Vann Author, Love: Possible

AuthorI, Kanika Vann (writer, author, editor, journalist, poet, publisher, and love enthusiast), created Love: Possible© with the intent to help save my sisters from the unnecessary pain that accompanies the acceptance of confusion, dysfunction, and disrespect in our romantic relationships, but not without calling special attention to our most valuable relationship—the one we have with ourselves.
