Ladies, please #stop advising your #friends, ingraining your #daughters, or believing (yourselves) that the #definition of love is how much#foolishness you're willing to #tolerate, how much #bullshit you can endure, how much #time you're willing to #waste, or how long you #waited (aka "#loyalty") for him to commit before he decided to stop playing and "settled" down with you. THAT ISN'T #LOVE!!!! It's #indifference. It's "She's been my A-1 since day 1" (i.e., she's the only one who let me do what I wanted and now she's the last one standing; I owe it to her). It's "Fuck it; why not?" C'mon ladies; we're better than this. #Settling for 'less than' is not love. Investing your #precious time in tears and hurt shows an absence of self-love. And being forced to #endure #drama means HE DOES NOT LOVE YOU!!! STOP for just a #moment and think about this. I know that you#hate being #lonely. I know that he's who you want. But put your #ego aside; your #infatuation aside; and your #fidelity aside, and step forward and see yourself.

AuthorI, Kanika Vann (writer, author, editor, journalist, poet, publisher, and love enthusiast), created Love: Possible© with the intent to help save my sisters from the unnecessary pain that accompanies the acceptance of confusion, dysfunction, and disrespect in our romantic relationships, but not without calling special attention to our most valuable relationship—the one we have with ourselves.
