Just a word to the wise: Don't hate him; don't regret him; don't carry that detriment in your spirit. Instead, thank the heaven's for him; for your purpose, for his purpose in adding to your purpose, for his being a liar or an abuser, a cheater or a loser. Thank him for who he wasn't and for being the asshole that we was. And while you're at it, buy him a Hallmark card thanking him for his worthlessness–because you're now better for it; even better than you were with him. If you haven't already done so, take this moment to turn that hatred, that frustration, and that bitterness into a determination to choose better, do better, and know better the next time around. #TBT #2014

AuthorI, Kanika Vann (writer, author, editor, journalist, poet, publisher, and love enthusiast), created Love: Possible© with the intent to help save my sisters from the unnecessary pain that accompanies the acceptance of confusion, dysfunction, and disrespect in our romantic relationships, but not without calling special attention to our most valuable relationship—the one we have with ourselves.
