![]() Why are we attempting to justify who we are to partners that obviously can't/don't see us? We make the argument that we're smart, beautiful, domesticated but independent, loving to him and his family, accepting of his flaws, honest, funny, and phat. Ok; but why do you have to do a breakdown of the woman you are to a man who should already appreciate that about you? Either he cares or doesn't, sees you or is unable, admires your qualities or is threatened by them. You can't justify beauty or completion to people not equipped to receive it, nor can you be a great woman to an undeserving man. -Kanika A. Vann Author, Love: Possible

AuthorI, Kanika Vann (writer, author, editor, journalist, poet, publisher, and love enthusiast), created Love: Possible© with the intent to help save my sisters from the unnecessary pain that accompanies the acceptance of confusion, dysfunction, and disrespect in our romantic relationships, but not without calling special attention to our most valuable relationship—the one we have with ourselves.
