Just A Thought (No Excuses):

The reasoning behind his disrespect is irrelevant, so ‪#‎StopMakingExcuses‬ for it. The fact that he feels comfortable treating you like shit is the problem that I'm having with some of you, mainly because ‪#‎YouAllowIt‬!!! You justify his ‪#‎bullshit‬ the same way you talk shit, stand there while he dances in it, then tracks it through your house. Translation: You talk a good game, but you ain't left yet. There's no talking involved when you're done. ‪#‎Ijs‬!!! ‪#‎DoIt‬ or don't; ‪#‎ThatsUpToYou‬. I'm just tired of watching you swim in your own tears when the same cloud that you blame for the rain is also your umbrella, your life jacket, and the damn recovery team you're waiting for to come save your illogical ass from drowning. ‪#‎AssBackwards‬‪#‎BackwardsThinking‬ ‪#‎Illogical‬ Stop investing in shit that consistently makes you unhappy simply because it made you smile (or cum, or laugh) once upon a time. ‪#‎YoureWastingTime‬!!!

I, Kanika Vann (writer, author, editor, journalist, poet, publisher, and love enthusiast), created Love: Possible© with the intent to help save my sisters from the unnecessary pain that accompanies the acceptance of confusion, dysfunction, and disrespect in our romantic relationships, but not without calling special attention to our most valuable relationship—the one we have with ourselves.

Subsequently, both my book and my website seek to help salvage our realistic expectations and eliminate our unrealistic beliefs. With these words, I aim to transform misconception into certainty, and disillusion into faith, in hopes that you'll each come to recognize who you are, what you are, and what you deserve.
