I, like most women, #love hard. But one #lesson I've had to learn the hard way is that we shouldn't stay (in love, or allow ourselves to get to that point) unless it is (or can be) reciprocated. #Ladies, when we love, we tend to have tunnel vision, and that doesn't always allow us to see so accurately or realistically. But after experiencing a #heartbreak or two, we have very few excuses that would be valid in our allowing it to happen again (by settling for a man that we know will lead us back to it). Think back to what hasn't panned out for you and why. Think about what you chose to ignore, and decided to overlook. What did you allow that went against your principles, or do against your better judgement?#ProbablyMoreThanYouShouldve. How often did you dismiss your#intuition, or go to battle with your common sense? #SayI. But look at you now--wiser, better, more prepared, ready and deserving (or at least you should be). Instead of giving in to bitterness, distrust, and fear, be grateful for the new opportunities you have and the new chances you've been given to find love on a two-way street. #BeBetter; #ChooseBetter;#LoveBetter.

AuthorI, Kanika Vann (writer, author, editor, journalist, poet, publisher, and love enthusiast), created Love: Possible© with the intent to help save my sisters from the unnecessary pain that accompanies the acceptance of confusion, dysfunction, and disrespect in our romantic relationships, but not without calling special attention to our most valuable relationship—the one we have with ourselves.
