![]() Our happiness has very little to do with the things we have, but rather those things we've dismissed from our space, deleted from our lives, or denied the opportunity to take ownership of us. We're able to have relationships because we've learned to dismiss problematic people. We're able to know love because we've denied foolishness, selfishness, and insecurity the opportunity to destroy what we've built with the people we care the most for. Let it be known that we control much of our own happiness by deleting situations that challenge that happiness. So I urge you to see that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But if it is, donate it, discard it, or leave the non-sense where it stands. Because emotional maturity teaches us one thing: NOT EVERYTHING WAS BUILT TO LAST. #LetGoOfWhatWas #EmbraceWhatIs #DontWorryBeHappy #YouDeserveIt -Kanika A. Vann Author, Love: Possible

AuthorI, Kanika Vann (writer, author, editor, journalist, poet, publisher, and love enthusiast), created Love: Possible© with the intent to help save my sisters from the unnecessary pain that accompanies the acceptance of confusion, dysfunction, and disrespect in our romantic relationships, but not without calling special attention to our most valuable relationship—the one we have with ourselves.
