![]() Ladies: please, please, please guard your thoughts, and stop letting societal pressures coerce you into being less than what you are. If you want to keep a man, LOVE YOURSELF. It's the confidence that you exude that makes you most irresistible to him; being sure of yourself (with or without him), and not allowing anyone who offers less than you deserve into your space. [#DontBeABitchThough] But many of you would rather believe that you have to strip like Ciara to keep your man; swallow, surfboard, and dance behind partitions like Beyoncé to keep your man (it might help though...lol), and alter your entire exterior like Nicki, to keep your man. But hold up; I'm confused. Because you're willing to twerk for him, but can't stand up for yourself. You can "service" him but can't speak up and express yourself. #Hmmm#Interesting These reality TV chicks that you're following on Twitter have forced you to believe that you have to be naked to be seen, with even more encouraging you to take him for his paper, or have his baby to keep him close.#ThatWouldBeANegative But what very few tell you is that loving yourself is what truly gets the job done. Confidence has always been an attractive quality to have. But you'd rather listen to women who get paid to lie to you and confuse you because their music video was hot. #Illusions Because their Vines are funny, or their husbands are superstar athletes or hip-hop moguls.#LOL "Superhead" can't keep a man. I recall Halle Berry, J. Lo, and Janet Jackson having similar problems over the years, and they're gorgeous. The talented Mariah Carey is without her cub now, and how many times has Chante' Moore been to the lost and found box? You gotta stop listening to insecure women; women that won't even check their mailboxes without make-up on. Women that get ass-implants to feel "better" about themselves, do everything for the camera, and have stylists on standby every morning just so they can say: I woke up like this. #GirlBye Stop making your self-esteem pay the price for the unrealistic. Stop letting this bogus BS impress, then confuse you. Contrary to what those Disney films taught you, a grown man wants a strong woman. #NotAPlasticOne #NotABrokenOne #NotAMisleadingOne If he wants a mentally weak one, I guarantee he's an insecure man, who's not prepared, or strong enough to stand my your side. #BelieveIt #LetsDoBetter #LongPostToday #ButItNeededToBeSaid #LetsGoToWork -Kanika A.
