![]() Loneliness is an incredibly loud silence, one that leaves us left to battle the beat of our own hearts, the racing of our own thoughts, and the emptiness of our own beds. And as some of us may already know first hand, depression and loneliness are like childhood friends--bosom buddies, partners in crime--who are attached at the hip and stuck to each other like glue. So at all costs, we must make an attempt to stay optimistic, live life to the fullest (when we can) and love wholly when we have the chance, because not one of us wants to experience this quiet storm. -Kanika Vann

![]() He said: God doesn't give us gifts that we're unprepared for. So why would He send [her] to me, knowing that I wasn't ready? I said: Well, that must mean that you are ready for [her]. When God sends us blessings, we don't ask why they were sent. We instead, accept them and adapt to them. We grow and appreciate them because He expects us to. But hey, you have free will to choose [her] or ignore your gift. Just don't wake up one day complaining that He hasn't answered your prayers, because He'll remember the woman He sent you when your life was low and you'll be getting an invitation to her wedding. -Kanika Vann |
